Yesteryear . . . The June Pixel Scrapper Blog Train

Several years ago, I set out on a journey to trace my family roots.  Thanks to Ancestry.com, the hunt for long gone relatives was made that much easier and in some cases, I was able to put a face to the family stories that were told so often over the years.  By the time I was finished, I had come to know each of those people as if I had actually known them in person.  Plenty of surprises along the way, too!  All the papers and elements you'll find in this month's blog train are perfect for scrapping older pictures as well as more current ones, with just enough steampunk thrown in to keep it interesting.  Enjoy!

  17. Your kit is a glorious summer picnic kit. My fruit salad uses BLUEBERRIES and RASPBERRIES to decorate a bowl of chopped walnuts, oranges, apples & bananas (briefly soaked in OJ to keep them from turning brown). Then my not-so-secret ingredient: toss with LEMON yogurt. I picture myself enjoying this under a BLUE SKY in the cool shade of trees festooned with colorful FLOWERS and LEAVES swaying in the breeze, while BIRDIES and filigreed-winged DRAGONFLIES flit nearby. Thanks for everything needed for my beautiful picnic!
