February Blog Train and Fan Freebie

Even after all these years, I still love Valentine's Day.  Starting with my husband of almost 48 years, each new son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchild, my heart just keeps growing.  Then add in all of my horses and smaller pets -- love knows no bounds.  It's all sort of a puzzle that just fits together so perfectly.

Love is a Puzzle

Fan Freebie --

When things aren't exactly going as expected or maybe wished for, there's nothing more comforting than a cup of hot tea in my favorite teacup while reflecting on issues and contemplating solutions.  A fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie helps, too :)  This teapot and cup were part of my decorative painting pattern designs "Tea Party Collection".

The Boo Update --

Boo is a "Basket Case" at times :)  He was very upset one day because I was taking wet clothes from the washer and putting them into the dryer, but got interrupted by a phone call in the middle of it.  Boo kept walking from me while I was in the kitchen back the the laundry room until I finally followed him and discovered I wasn't quite finished with loading the dryer.  Once I got it started up and the next load washing, Boo again walked from me to the kitchen and back again until I finally followed him.  He sat looking up at the counter where I keep his treats.  Just goes to show that every good deed deserves a proper thank you :)  Honestly, I have never had a cat with such intelligence that knows how the world works!

Aren't our pets amazing? I've had several pets in my life, but there is one that stands out from the crowd, definitely, in understanding and communication with me, and that's my current pet, my dog Kipper. SO special when that happens.
Thank you for your beautiful kits, and especially the teapot and teacup are SO CUTE!

Thank you Diane for the wonderful puzzle kit and fan freebie! Boo is so adorable but you already know I'm partial to black cats. One of mine, Freddy (orange and white) loves his treats and has learned that whenever he goes outside and then is let inside, he gets a treat, and if I hesitate in giving it to him he follows me around meowing in his squeaky voice till he gets it. Smarty pants cat, he is!! I think he and Boo would get along just fine, LOL. Vicki

Your story of Boo reminded me of our hero cat Brutus. One day our dog, Harli, was missing. We hunted our forested hilly 6 acres for several hours. My husband noticed Brutus had been sitting on the same stump in the front yard all that time. Harli had passed out, hidden underneath a large fern next to the stump. Harli survived. And Brutus was forever credited with saving her. Thanks for your delightful kit.

Thank you God for our pets. They are far more intelligent then we give them credit for.
Our rescue German Shepherd,Nakoma, gets various little treats throughout the day and takes them in whatever 'position' he might be in at the time. But his absolute favorite white dental bone is the last treat of every day anywhere between 10:30 to Midnight. Somehow he knows when I'm coming and is out of his 'den' sitting in perfect attention to accept his special treat. He doesn't do that for the other goodies. I think it is his way of letting me know that this is his favorite and be sure to keep it in stock.

Boo is just the best cat..,smart, funny and helpful.
I always love your 'gifts', they are much appreciate
THANK YOU SO MUCH...Cynthia
