August 2025 Blog Train and Fan Freebie

Well, this summer is sure flying by!  My granddaughter is spending weekdays here with me while Mom and Dad are working and her older siblings are either working or taking classes.  We're having so much fun.  I'm teaching her how to paint and we work on projects every day.  And, she's a talker, so we never run out of things to chat about.  I'm going to miss her company when she has to go back to school.

My flower gardens are so beautiful right now, but it won't be long and they'll kind of look like this "End of Summer" kit.

The Boo Update --

I got a box in the mail one day.  After I removed the goodies, Boo claimed the box as his.  He has been taking his afternoon nap in it every day.  SO . . . I decided we might as well spruce it up with little mice poking their heads out of holes.  What surprised me was when I put the decorated box back on the floor, Boo walked around the entire box to see all the new decorations.  He must have approved because he curled up in his box and went to sleep.

I'll be back in September.  So will Boo!

Great stuff as always, thanks! I love that Boo still likes his box after the decor was added - maybe he even likes it more! How fun and special that you can enjoy your granddaughter's company. I can imagine it will be awfully quiet when she goes back to school. Hopefully she can come and visit sometimes on weekends instead. :)

It's been one year since the unexpected death of my husband and life became uprooted. It's been a long time since I got back on the computer and realized how much I missed your stories and Boo of course. I wish I remembered sooner for it always made me laugh and smile which I have needed. Thank you for your wonderful 'gifts', your stories and Boo........Cynthia

I love the little mouse! We've had the dickens of a time trying to keep our kitty, Taz, from getting on the dining table. One day after receiving a package, I forgot to break down the box and now Taz has claimed it. He still gets on the table, but at least he stays in the box. Thank you for the goodies!

Thank you for the lovely kits! I'm glad you get to spend time with your granddaughter. We're still waiting on grandbabies over here. (Sigh.) And the Boo update is a crackup. Cats and their boxes!
