August 2022 Blog Train and Fan Freebie

Summer has been moving right along and here it is August already!  Summer seems to fly by way too quickly if you ask me.  I pretty much spend my summers outside and enjoy every minute of it gardening, training horses and just soaking in the sun.  Never a boring minute.  And we've had just enough rain to keep everything green and growing :)

The Boo Update --

I came in from outside and found Boo like this.  Had to take a picture!  The back of his head is hanging off the barstool, as is his hind leg closest to the cabinet.  I just shake my head.  Sound asleep and no care in the world.  I wonder what he dreams about.

See ya next month!

Pets always have a way of making us shake our heads. Our German Shepherd found a way to keep cool. Everyday he digs a little deeper by the sprinkler (dirt is cooler farther down) under the large bush for shade. Today we could barely see the top of his head and back which are EVEN with the patio cement floor. He refuses to come inside and ignores or runs away from the things we try to make him cooler. He's such a goofy lovable dog. BOO is such a character and provides you with much joy. You in turn provide us the same with your great kits...thank you so much!!!

Thank you! Boo is such a goof, I think I would love him in person (cat LOL). We have 3 and they all have different personalities. Our oldest is Apollo, and he is 18. He's a black & brown tabby with a bullseye pattern on his side. He's also mostly deaf, and it's funny to see him jump when he's touched because he didn't hear us coming. Chiquita is our girl (age about 6), who was a stray that we took in after she'd been coming for food most of the winter. Hermes is our last little guy, about 4-1/2, also a tabby, although his coloring is quite a bit lighter than Apollo's is. We love all of them and our house wouldn't be the same without cat fur and toys all over.

Again, thanks for the freebies!!
